This pack contains 4 separate activities. The first is a 2-page activity, for which the kids need to name, trace and then design (colouring, painting, glittering etc) each of the featured dinosaurs (grey silhouettes). There is a table of names on page 2 which the kids can use to help them name the dinos. A file with the dinosaur silhouettes and their names is included. The second two activities are wordsearches. One has 15 dinosaurs to find, and the other has 30 dinosaurs to find. Each one also features 5 black silhouettes of popular dinosaurs which the kids to try to name. Wordsearches are a great way to reinforce key terms, enhance vocabulary, help with spelling as well as pattern recognition. They are great for the classroom, at home and events. The last activity is a wonderful anagrams activity. The kids need to read the (often strange) set of words and then rearrange the letters to figure out the name of the dinosaur. ‘carpet riots’ anyone? (Answer file included)

What will you be doing to commemorate this day or to educate the kids about the Gunpowder Plot? Grab the second of two bundles available and have fun with the kids. The first resource in this bundle is a wordsearch with 24 related-terms to find. The wordsearch features 3 images as well as the famous poem recited in memory of the Gunpowder Plot. The second resource in this bundle is a 16-question activity, requiring kids to carry out some research. They will surely learn a lot including Guy Fawkes not being the main culprit, as well as which British actor’s ancestor was the actual brains behind the infamous plot. The third resource in this bundle is a fun computing activity for which the kids will complete pixel art activities of the Gunpowder Plot themed pictures, but they’ll need to convert binary numbers to decimal numbers first! (Instructions are given for this.) There are also two additional worksheets for kids to create their own pixel art piece. This file is an xls file created in MS Excel. This is a great bundle to get into the mood of the UEFA Champions League - Final 16, for the 2020/2021 year. This contains 3 resources plus the solutions for each: A wordsearch of the 16 clubs in the ‘Final 16’ knockout phase, plus spaces for students to make their Winners and Runners-up predictions A matching activity where students need to match the football club name with its highest-paid player A matching activity where the students need to match the 16 highest-paid players with their actual weekly salaries (3 separate files included for solutions / answers.) These activities are meant to entertain the students in the run-up to the UCL knockout phase which is due to begin on February 2021. Particularly if you or your students are fans of football, this will be a fun activity to complete in the classroom!
